I can't help it, but I like to categorize things, including people. I could definitely see differences between HCI specialists/designers from san francisco vs. silicon valley.
Differences being age, experience, speciality, and etc.

For many years, I was attracted to companies/projects in silicon valley, but hated the culture there. And commuted many miles from SF to the valley....felt if I ever left san francisco (city), my creativity will be drained.....

What are some of your creative influences? Just curious.
